From Anna Maria Island it is about 1 hour to drive to Busch Gardens in Tampa. Your drive may be longer or shorter depending on what time of year you are planning your Busch Gardens Adventure.

The Big Cat Habitat
Big Cat Habitat is a non-profit safe haven for big cats, bears, and other animals in need. The Big Cat Habitat was founded by Kay Rosaire who has more than 30 years of experience working with and caring for exotic animals.
The Big Cat Habitat is open 5 days a week from 12:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. On Wednesday and Thursday you can tour all of the animal areas and visit the petting zoo. Friday, Saturday and Sunday you can tour all of the animal areas, and check out the educational demonstration that starts at 1:30 p.m. The demo lasts about an hour and the gates close at 4:00 p.m.
Donations $12 for adults and $7 for kids All parking is FREE!!
