Grocery Shopping
When it’s time for grocery shopping you will have your choice of Supermarkets like, Publix. Albertsons, Sweet Bay, and Wal-Mart, in Bradenton or Sarasota .  Anna Maria Island has a Publix but you can go to the Pine Street General store, BP station, and several small convenience stores on Anna Maria Island can help in a pinch.  For Fresh Seafood visit the Fresh Fish Market located on Anna Maria Island in Holmes Beach. 

Household items and pharmacies
If you need a prescription filled try a  Walgreens, Wal-Mart or  CVS and they will take care of your prescription needs.  Of course they also offer magazines, photograph development, miscellaneous convenience grocery’s, cosmetics, and many other items needed while on vacation. 

Anna Maria Island Gift Shops
Anna Maria City, Holmes Beach, and Bradenton Beach have plenty of opportunities for gift shopping.  The White Egret offers both small and large household items.  Anything you might need for a home.   The Sand Dollar Gift Shop offers a large selection of unique island gifts perfect for your pet or house sitter while on vacation. The Anna Maria artist Guild has plenty of paintings, photographs and sculptures to choose from.   Two Sides of Naturehas high quality T-Shirts as well as some hats and beach household nick nacks.
